Why give?
This is my homestead, purchased a year and half ago. I didn’t, and don’t, want to see the land become a development. I want to dedicate as much of my time, skills, and resources as I am able to during 2025, to establishing this home business which will focus on revitalizing and conserving this agricultural land. My desire is to see this specific peak become central in the development of Lycoming County’s first Green Burial Certified cemetery. The only GBC cemetery currently in Pennsylvania is Penn Forest Natural Burial Park just outside of Pittsburgh, which I felt blessed to visit this past autumn. I am working to get this established so that it becomes a respite, a space of healing, learning, and growth for my community in the future.
